I. Payment:
Maid Connection accepts cash, personal checks, Visa and MasterCard for
payment of service fees. All fees for services are due at the time/completion
of service.
Many clients wish to “tip” the service providers. You are
not obligated in any way to tip employees of Maid Connection; however,
tipping is a great way to create an eager desire within our team members
to strive to go beyond your expectations.
There will be a $10.00 surcharge if payment is not received on the day
of service.
A $25.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks.
II. Refunds:
Maid Connection does not issue refunds. Cleaning is a very subjective
service; therefore, we can only offer to re-clean any area(s) that you
are dissatisfied with. We will return within 24 hours of the initial
visit to correct any problems.
III. Quality Control:
Our system is designed to include many "checks and balances" to
ensure that the highest level of quality is delivered. Our team leaders
are well trained and work diligently to provide the best service possible.
In addition, we employ area operations managers that randomly check homes
that have been cleaned to ensure that the team leaders are effectively
managing their crews and serving our clients in accordance with the job
specifications.
IV. Scheduling:
We make every effort to schedule your cleaning on the day that you request
each week. If you are a regular client, you are automatically scheduled
for your normal day and time frame each week.
Arrival time windows are our standard procedure. For example, we can
tell you that our crew will arrive between 9am and 1pm or 11am and 3pm.
We cannot give specific arrival times due to the nature and unpredictability
of our business.
Holidays… if your cleaning falls on a holiday, we will make every
effort to reschedule the cleaning on the next available day that is convenient
for you.
V. Keys and Alarm Systems
It is recommended that you leave a key at our corporate office for our
crew to access your home. This is the easiest way for us to provide service
to you and causes the least amount of inconvenience. All keys are coded
and kept in our key safe at all times. No identifying information is
ever attached to your key. The code that is placed on the key is matched
to your client number, which is on the work order that the team leader
uses to provide service at your home. We do not return keys by mail.
For your security and safety, we require that all keys be picked up in
person at our office. You must show a picture ID to our staff before
any key(s) will be released.
If you have an alarm system in your home, we recommend that a separate
code be assigned to The Maid Connection. It is at your discretion that
an alarm code and instructions be issued to our company. If you feel
that your system is simple enough for our team to operate we will gladly
do so per your instructions. If you choose not to have our team operate
your alarm system, simply leave it off on the day of service.
VI. Employees:
We do not allow our crews to use bleach or any cleaning agent that includes
bleach as one of its ingredients.
We do not permit our employees to use ladders higher than 3 feet from
the ground.
Our employees are not permitted to lift any item heavier than 40 pounds.
We will not move any heavy appliances or furniture like refrigerators,
ovens or sofas. If you wish for us to clean behind any heavy appliances,
please move it out prior to our arrival.
As a Maid Connection client, you are not permitted to hire any of our
present or past (past is defined as within the preceding 6 (six) month
period) employees to work directly for you at any time. If you violate
this requirement, Maid Connection will charge a $2,500 fee payable within
ten (10) days of discovery. This fee will cover the cost of recruiting
and training a replacement employee for our company.
VII. Cancellation:
Maid Connection requires 48 hours notice of cancellation. This time
requirement is necessary so that we can schedule other appointments for
the team on that day.
If we do not receive 48 hours notice of cancellation, it will be necessary
to charge our minimum service fee of $90.00.
